Michaela

Youth Coach

Michaela

Michaela started Jiu Jitsu with the academy opening in January of 2018. She and her two daughters were Professor Greg’s first official students here at Gustavo Machado Chesapeake. What started off as a fun activity to do with her family has become a passion and way of life. Michaela believes strongly in Jiu Jitsu and the lessons it can help teach; perseverance, patience, respect, and learning to be comfortable being uncomfortable.

Michaela has been a military wife for 10 years here in Hampton Roads and is grateful for the family away from family at the academy. When not on the mats, she is working towards her RN degree with the goal of pediatric/family nursing. She also loves baking desserts and weight lifting. She looks forward to meeting you and your family!
